How do you guys get followers in Instagram?

So I follow all the people I know and some of them don't even follow me back. I post funny pics and oics if myself. I use all the hashtags #follow #followback #f4f etc and still don't get as much followers. How do u get followers???

Post interesting things and like photos, liking others photos will bring traffic to your instagram and if you post good pics that will lead to new followers. Or you can do what I do and start on twitter linking your instagram to it, I currently have 69k followers on twitter and going to start my instagram soon.
