How do you send somebody a message on Twitter? Not a Direct Message, but a public one where everybody can see? Pleas help me! Thanks.
Whenever I press 'Reply' to one of their statuses, it just automatically makes it my status and doesn't send to them.

A public message message would basically be the same as a reply, start your message with @(username) and you have a public message which will show up on both your profile and the recipient's.
