Will the police get me for a fake facebook account if I deleted it?
I done a bad thing and created a fake facebook account impersonating someone I dont like. They took it as harassment and the police are coming to see them tommorow.
However, I'd already deleted the account therefore they cant see it anymore and they cant show it to the police. Is there anything they can do considering this? Ads |

I can only give you technical information here, and that is that even though the account was deleted FB still keeps a record of it, and that they have to give up those records if they are presented with a warrant.
As for what the police are capable of doing, I really don't know because that is a legal matter. If I were you I'd repost this question in the legal section or, better yet, consult an attorney. Ads |

Whether it was deleted or not, the account technically still exists on the Facebook servers. If the police deem that there is sufficient cause to investigate further, all they have to do is present Facebook with a court order or subpeona and get whatever information they need from Facebook.

Only Facebook finds out about your fake Facebook account, not the police.
