Anyone use Facebook adverts?

Does anyone use the Facebook advert application to sell stuff or advertise things? I'm trying to advertise this site I'm working with where you get 'piggy' points (lol) from shops when you buy online at places like HMV or whatever (Feel free to check it out: http://joinpigsback.at/spacepenguin?LID=22 ) Don't ask me who made the logo, or the mascot - oh dear.

But I'm just wondering if anyone knows whether its worth paying money per click on an advertisement or if anyone has any experience with using the system? Any advice on the advertising system would be muchos appreciated!

Yes. It was awful. Conversion rates were so low I could've done better on the street with a sandwich board.
