what does it mean when a guy messages u a lot and then stops?

me and this guy i know became facebook friends almost two weeks ago and he has messaged me almost everyday (he always started the conversation) and he hasn't messaged me in like 3 days. there have been times in the past few days where we've both been online at the same time for a while and he doesn't message me (granted i dont message him). and today he liked a picture i was tagged in like 3 seconds after my friend posted it. so what does this mean?

I think it still too early for you to feel disapppointed towards that guy..because you still new to him..just take it easy..
If he sincere to be friends with you he will contact you soon..if not maybe he justneed someone when he feel lonely...
