Why did he delete me on facebook out of no where ?

I added this boy a few days ago and I sent him a message the day after . He replied and asked me where I'm from , which I told him . Then I asked him back and he replied , in a nice way . Then he wrote that hes going to sleep then said good night with a smiley face. I wrote good night back and he read it the next day . Then I waited a couple of days to pass by to say " happy new year ". He replied back today telling me the same thing . Then hours later I wrote "so how's yours going?". He didn't read it but he deleted me today which I didn't realize . I checked his page early today what's his problem ?. I never flirted with him in the first place .
