i cannot see my photos that I attach in private messaging on facebook?

I have a business account facebook page. When private messaging with customer, I attach a picture from my photo album THEY are able to see it/them but on my screen (ipad or computer) but it only shows an icon of a image.jpeg When they send a picture to me, I see their picture in the threads. So, bottom line, I can't see outgoing images just imcoming images.

I've noticed that mine are slow sometimes, but eventually I can see them . . . have you gone back & looked at older Messages to see if yours did?
