How do I change my Yahoo profile picture?

Why I hover over my blank picture it says "Change profile picture" and when I click it all that pops up underneath is a FB logo and a box next to it that says "No photo" with an X in it

You can use a photo or a Yahoo! cartoon avatar, and if you have a Facebook or Twitter account, you can also use those avatars.

Go to: http://profile.yahoo.com/y/settings/privacy/ - make sure your profile isn't hidden, because if it is, your avatar won't show.

If you want a cartoon avatar, go here to create one: http://avatars.yahoo.com/ - then click on "Yahoo!" under "Export your Avatar".

In case you want to use a Facebook or Twitter avatar, you need to link those accounts in the Profile options.

You have several options in case you want a photo avatar:
a) go to your Yahoo! Answers settings at http://answers.yahoo.com/my-activity/edit/about , click "Update photo or avatar",
b) go to your Yahoo! Profile at http://profile.yahoo.com/ , click on the current avatar.
Now upload a picture or choose one of the pics you've uploaded previously.

Note: if you are on a mobile, you need to switch to desktop mode first in order for this to work.

it should also be saying upload a photo I recently uploaded a random pic of mine but its not displaying here on yahoo answers page but I can see it on my profile page don't know whats wrong with it so you are not the only one whoz suffering

There should be an upload button you can click... then you can select a picture from your computer. or if you click the FB one you can pick something off your FB.
