Facebook notification settings?

A long time ago, I changed my Facebook notification settings so that I would not receive an e-mail for every notification. It has worked for years, but not anymore. My e-mail is flooded w/ Facebook notifications. I go on the notification settings and it appears the way I set them. Yet, I still receive e-mails. Is there a way I can stop this for good?

Delete your facebook account get new account then do the settings again

Do you use fb through another client/app such as your phone? Make sure you don't have different settings there. I've never seen that issue since I've changed my notification settings also. I would try going through fb's help services instead of here. Maybe even contact their support as it may be an issue on their end.

If that doesn't work and you need a quick fix until it's permanently resolved you can spam those emails so that they filter straight to junk mail or even change you're primary email on fb to a spam email account.

Not sure you want to go deleting you account as it's not a sure fix and will just be a hassle if/when it's not and you have to re-add all your friends, info, etc.
