How to deal with hate on twitter?
I have an Ariana Grande fan twitter account with quite a lot of followers (5 thousand). Earlier on today I was having a rant about Justin Bieber and his behaviour and how he's a danger to society, a brat, needs help, etc. I did it because I'm a person who has been affected by drink driving before and I feel extremely strongly about the subject. Before I knew it there were HUNDREDS of JB fans in my mentions, telling me to die, calling Ariana a wh*re, and calling ME one. Worst of all they were calling me ugly. My link on my profile on twitter is to my tumblr where there are pictures of me, and some of them were even tweeting the pictures and mocking me. I've always been really insecure about my looks and even though they're just pathetic kids on the internet it still really got to me. I deleted my account because of the hate half an hour ago.

I just can't believe that people would say such vile things online. If you can't handle somebody's opinion about a singer who you don't even know, how will you survive in the real word?

What should I do about it? I feel so scared and upset Sad

P.S. I find it so hypocritical how beliebers always tweet about how "the media bully Justin" yet they do the same to anyone who isn't obsessed with him.

Beliebers are f*cking psychotic nuts. Worse than Chris Brown fans and Directioners combined.

Personally, I'd just laugh it off, but you sound legitmately hurt about this. You've already deleted the Twitter account, so I guess I'd just change the privacy settings on Tumblr and stay on the D/L until this whole thing blows over. They'll probably just flock to the next "bully" who speaks the truth--err!---I mean "hurts" poor wittle baby Bieber. <3

Beliebers are idiots. You know this. They're brainless little morons and they frighten the living hell out of me because allegedly this is our future!

That's the only way to deal with it. Just know that they are idiots, forget them, and move on. There are way more important things in this world than Beliebers, or Ariana Grande, whoever that is.

I'm also on twitter. I don't own a fan account, but I do tweet a lot about Justin and I ADORE Ariana.

Not all justin bieber fans are like this. A lot of them are bullied in real life and they act all big on twitter. I don't think it's fair as a whole to call all his fans "brainless" or "morons". But I will admit, fangirls in general can be quite rude. Ariana Grande fangirls are porbably the most polite fanbase on twitter.

Personally, directioners are more rude than Beliebers.

Anyway, don't tweet for a few hours. Block those mocking you. The people calling you ugly probably have a picture of Justin Bieber as their avatar. They probably have no right. They're all insecure, more than likely. I've gotten hate on twitter as well, it blows over fast.

Either get off of twitter or grow a pair of balls and realize some people won't see eye to eye with you.
