if I didn't block this guy on my fb, then who did?

I just added a guy as a friend on my Facebook. He tried to message me but he couldnt because he was blocked. The problem is that I did not block him, so why was he already blocked. Is there a serious reason as to why this happened?

If you can still see his page and YOU can still message him, his account was probably disabled. He's still able to post pictures and such, he just can't add anyone or chat probably. Sometimes when this happens you can't comment on anything either. This has happened to me a few times due to:
-Accepting too many friend requests at one time
-Commenting on a photo like so many times at once. (Spamming)
He could also be blocked is someone reported him for posting something inappropriate.

It's possible that he isn't blocked. Maybe check your "Other" folder and see if there's a message from him.
