Is this how you see who's looking at your facebook profile...?

Hey guys, I'm pretty sure the bar down the side of your facebook profile (containing 10 of your facebook friends) shows the people who've recently viewed your profile, but I wanted to see what you guys thought... I only interact with people on facebook occasionally, I only go on to see what people are up to. But out of those 10 people (who stay there after countless times of refreshing the page), I've only interacted with one of them in the last few months. I don't look at any of the other's pages either, and seeing as the list is pretty similar every time I log in, I'm guessing it isn't random.
I'm pretty sure about this theory 'cause this one guy, who's never spoken to me but I know by face, suddenly came up today amongst the usual people... So, is this facebook's way of FINALLY telling us who's viewing our profile?
On the LEFT side. I do have a brain, I know the difference between a friends list and a chat list.

No. That is the chat box. It shows you which of your friends is logged in and has chat turned on.

If you're talking about what used to be the 'people you might know' list, I was told that they show up there only if there is a 2nd or 3rd string mutual friend down the line.
(I don't know what goes on around there anymore, quit fb a long time ago!)

I don't have that now, but did notice it was very random and someone I know looks at my profile almost every day wasn't on the list, so unless Facebook have updated it then I would say no.

Your answer is no, i kinda guessed you meant on the left side lol, but the answer is defo no, they are just randomly generated from your friends. also it is only friends its shows so people not on your friends could be looking but it never shows a non-friend person. heres a test, if you click on your friends name and look at there list of people on the left, then click on there photos or wall or a few pages and then go back to there main page and you will see the friends have changed.
