What can you do on twitter?

Is it like facebook and is it better than Facebook, and is it easy to use?

Depends, if you have lots of friends already using it or really into teeny boy bands like one direction or justin then it's hard getting noticed. It's nothing like facebook at all totally different just like basic public text messaging (you can protect your tweets which is good if you just want to use it privately between your mates) but anyone can comment on what you say if you are public (loads of spam etc and really unpleasant people.

Dead easy to use but like i say it's mostly cluttered up with tweets of teenage girls who tend to create trending topics around certain bands,female teen stars who they hate and the occasional breakout moment when some massive news story breaks as twitter is also a firm favourite for networking professionals.

I'm in my 40s and love Twitter!

It takes some getting used to but is simple to use.

Better than Facebook as I follow a much wider range of people.

The trick is to remember that it's all about communicating with interesting people NOT just building a list of thousands of followers.
