Is it right of me to not want my girlfriend on social media?
ok so before you jump to conclusions,
i dont mind if she uses facebook, instagram, and all that stuff,
its just twitter

so weve spoken about it before and she knows i dont like it.
im fine with everything besides twitter because all i see is guys hit on her on it.
im sure you wouldnt want to see anybody hitting on the person you love

so after we talk about it, she will say that shes going to deactive it, and she does, but then a week or two later she'll reactivate it
she says that she doesnt care about any of the people on it, yet shes deactivated and reactivated it multiples times after talking about it.
she says that she only reactivates it because she doesnt want me controlling her.
is that really that controlling?
and she tells me that she doesnt care about it and all those people yet she responds to all of the guys that hit on her etc..
but if she doesnt care about any of it then why does she use it in the first place?
and why wouldnt she just keep it deactivated to satisfy me by not having a bunch of guys all over her?

(i dont have a twitter by the way)

is it right of me to not want her using it?
or is it really that controlling or not right of me for another reason?

That's really controlling. What's next, she can't leave the house?

I don't think that it's a bad thing to get a little bit jealous over something like that, but it's really just twitter. People go on there to complain and hashtag stupid stuff. If it REALLY makes you uncomfortable, talk it over thoroughly. It's not really something to break up over, but twitter is really nothing to any of the people who use it. It's all about followers and attention, nothing else . Hope this helped Smile

yea it is a bit too controlling. she can't help it that she's pretty and guys like her.
what are you going to do when she goes out and guys hit on her? you can't make her stop leaving her house cause you don't want the guys to hit on her.

she enjoys twitter and let her do what she wants. as long as she isn't talking back to those guys on twitter and flirting a bit its fine...

You can do that. It is your prerogative but you will never, ever, ever, keep someone in your life with rules.
