How to make visitors click "like us" for a FB page before viewing the content? Please read well?

I know how to create banners, clickable banners and know how to use Photoshop. What I need is something very specific... I see many FB pages have cute and professional banners that ask visitors to "like us" FIRST to view the page content. If the visitor doesn't lick the "like" button for the page, they can't view the content. Is there an application to do this on FB?
I want to know how to do that for my page. Also, I want to know if I can create a clickable banner and place it in my page that takes fans or visitors directly to my personal website or affiliate links to generate traffic and commissions. Any help?
@jon_mac_usa007: dishonest? you haven't a clue about marketing strategies. If I want to run a competition on my page and ask visitors to like the page to win something, you call it dishonest? I call it strong marketing tool to get traffic and advertise my services/products via Facebook. I didn't ask your opinion on what I need, I'm asking anyone who knows how to set that option on a FB page, if you don't know the answer, you can just pass my question. @Vanessa, well yes, I want to use it for promotions, contests, is there an application on FB for that?

I run a page with a considerably large amount of 'fans' or 'likes' but I can't say I know of what you're after, sorry. Maybe a quick Google with specific terms might help, or maybe asking those pages you've seen with it in place how they do it?

So you desire to force your like to 100 % of the people viewing your content. Doesn't that feel a little, well dishonest maybe.

You must have a website that include the FB "like" button to your FB account.

Never heard of this. I usually see facebook pages promotions but none of this! Maybe google would help. Sorry can't help good luck

Go to Admin panel Than Go to Manage Permissions And From there you Should be able to Do it Good Luck

I'm not sure if you can do click-able timeline cover photo. Old Facebook had option for click-able banners. but those banners are not a part of Facebook timeline. And you cannot create a click-able timeline cover image.

The previous Facebook layout had option where you could create custom landing pages for Facebook fan pages. When some one opened your Facebook fan page they used to directly go to the landing page & there was the option where viewers had to like first to see the rest of the contents. But I don't this the new timeline layout has those option. You cannot have landing pages anymore. Your timeline page is your landing page.

Things are a lot different with Facebook now.
