"nasty hashtag" - What exactly does this mean?

The sentence read:

"...retweets you and adds a nasty hashtag is giving you a taste of the smack he talks behind your back."

Does this actually mean one word or perhaps have several impolite meanings?

ahhhhh......Twitterdom...........I've never been 140 character kind of guy........(as you now know!)

I suppose it's twitter's version of trash talking.....

to give you a nasty hashtag.........like, #youcrazyweasel----

like it's meant as some devastating insult or something.

Just another way to get one last good shot in.
