Out of all the teams with big cap space who stand the most to lose?
Knicks
Nets
Bulls
Heat

I would say the Knicks do because even if they get Stoudemire there is no guarantee that they would get another superstar. For the last 2 years the Knicks main argument to free agents like Lebron and Wade is they can bring in another max free agent with them. However the Nets, Bulls, and Heat can come close to signing 2 max free agents and if these teams do they give whoever signs a better chance to win than the Knicks.

In the Heat there is a possibility Lebron and Wade team up and they get a power forward of a lesser caliber who will demand less money in Carlos Boozer or David Lee.

Also while New York is the bigger city, Nets will be moving to Brooklyn and Lebron would have more connections to make billions due to Jay Z and the rich Nets owner as opposed to New York.

The Heat. D Wade seems very interested in coming to Chicago. The Heat cleared all of that cap space and could end up walking away from this empty handed.

hahaha.

The Knicks don't really have space per sé and are the league leaders in the ridiculous contract stakes. They're willing to spend more in the hype driven market, so get used to the mythical 7 year $100 million Vujajic contract. If they don't get a name they'll be a laughing stock for another season.

Net's wil get their own eventually with a big spending new owner (with shrewd guidance).

The Bulls are used to it.

Wade is wooing everyone but the postman to come join him there. Bad if no-one comes, but I think Wade isn't gonna leave.

Pat and his violin case has made sure of that. Big Grin

Like what Sport Talk Host said. The Heat are starting look like a team without any hope of keeping Wade at this moment. I'm hoping Riley has something up his sleeve to keep Wade 'cause if they don't have another big name on the team, expect Wade to be wearing number 3 in different colors. The best option on another big name is probably Carlos Boozer in which he'll be happy to sign with.

I'm gonna choose a 5th team, the Clippers. They have max contract money, but have a cheap tightwad owner. If they could just sign any of the above with Lebron, Wade, Nowitzki or Johnson, heck even Richard Jefferson, Josh Howard, T-Mac, or Al Harrington would help.

The time for the Clippers to get the pieces to contend is now, that they have a great center in Kaman, a healthy Blake Griffin, Baron Davis aging (but he quietly had a great season last year), a solid young SG in Eric Gordon, and a very good bench.

All they need is one more scorer to tie things together, especially if Dwayne Casey agrees to be the coach.

If Donald Sterling doesn't pay up to get a free agent, they should take the franchise away from him.

Unfortunately The Heat. There's only 2 players on the team and D Wade is playing with our emotions with this Bulls crap, and dumb twitter.
