Help. No idea what to say.?

Not going to go into details, but i met a girl a while back and we seemed to hit it off. Since then, I've had no contact with her. A couple days ago, i ran across her Facebook page and ive come to the conclusion that ill hit her up on the site to get a conversation going (since the only other option i have is to bank on maybe running into her again. My question is how do i steer the conversation into maybe getting to hang out with her/get her number?

First add her a s a friend, then wait a few days, then when you see shes on talk to her and say hey then just talk to her a bit ask if shes busy or would like to talk. If shes busy ask her out or for her number. If shes not just talk to her and then ask her out if you still like her.
