am i being blocked by a friend in facebook, or he just deactivated his facebook account?

i had this friend, then suddenly, i didn't find him at my friends list, checked my wall posts that he had posted comments and it all disappeared, i tried to search his name on the search bar, but it turned out 0 results, i also checked a mutual friend with him, but my mutual friend also doesn't have my friend on his list..i also checked our past messages list, and does only show "Facebook User" and does not have photo in it..i also used my sister's facebook account which is not related to my friend, and it also turned 0 searches..

Sounds to me like he has either totally deleted his Facebook Account, or just Deactivated it. Both will not return any searches, messages, or Facebook Wall posts.
