How did you get over love?
Hi Everyone I just want you to know before I say anything that I'm mentally sick, not that I have real mental disabilities but that I'm obsessive. I want what I want and if I can't obtain that than don't the me anything. Im 25 years old I'm drunk right and about to go to sleep, I went on Twitter and Facebook only to see the girl I've been in love with for 3 years who I have known m whole life since 7th grade hanging with her boyfriend and his friends. She came on to me twice during the summer and I never got over it. She was having problems with her bf and I guess she saw me as a rebound who knows. I just want to know how any of you moved on. Good night everyone I'm heartbroken , and I can't deal with this garbage anymore

I could give you a bunch of psychological mumbo jumbo, but the truth of the matter is love is kind of like a virus that has to run its course. In time you'll wonder what you ever saw in her (romantically) and be dumbfounded as to why she has so much control over you!

She doesn't, you know. She doesn't actually have any control of you. It's just a trick your mind is playing on you. The pain you are feeling now could have been just as easily cause by almost any other girl on the planet! At least she's a "real" flesh and blood girl and not some movie star or magazine dream.

Don't blame her. Don't blame yourself. Try to understand that most of what you feel is just chemicals in your blood making you think that if you can't have this girl you are going to die. It's not true. You won't die, but the chemicals are there to persuade you to "nest." Some people have it a lot worse than others, but our species would have gone extinct along time ago without it.

Get rid of all her stuff. Remove her from your Facebook. Delete her number from your phone. Stop "feeding" your obsession with her and focus on something more important like your future! Try having some fun, hanging out with friends, watching a funny movie, or engaging in rigorous physical play like basket ball or jogging.

Take care and good luck!
