What could I do in order to make more members in a fan page and group page on Facebook?

I have a problem now.

I have a competition named "The Search for the Next Female Photogenic Star" which has both a fan page and group page.

The group page has 434 members while the fan page has 120 members on Facebook.

Now, I'm worrying why the competition suddenly stops.

I need your help.

My question is: What could I do in order to make more members in a fan page and group page on Facebook?

Please give me some tips in order that my The Search for the Next Female Photogenic Star" competition will definitely be a success hit and be the 1st ever all-female competition on Facebook.

I launched the fan page competition last November 16, 2010 and the members has reached 120 members and today, it has stopped.

While the group page has 434 members.

I'm just wondering what will happen if the competition hasn't been continue. Please help me.

You could advertise it(you know you see facebook advertisements on the side of the page) well there is a way of putting your page there so people will like it.

I'm not sure if you will have to create your page again, or if there is an option to advertise it.. just look through your page settings.
