New Facebook profile layout?

What on earth is going on with Facebook. Why does my 'info' section on my profile suddenly look different and is there any way of changing it back to the way it originally was?

Ugh, its gross and disgusting isn't it!!

The answer is no. Facebook thinks its more "community like" now linking to pages.

Its horrible, even less options to customize than before.

Sorry, but you, me, and millions more have to just deal with it. :-(

Unfortunately, Facebook is at it again, making frustrating changes to their format!! I liked mine better the way it was before too. This section of the profile was one of the few places left on Facebook that you could personalize. The new change is awful for anyone who took the time to set up their info section in a way that let their true nature and personality shine through. You used to be able to write witty or informative things about your interests, activities, and preferences for books, movies, and television...it was great for networking. Now all of that has been wiped out and all that's left is a generic, boring, list of basic info...and not even all of that shows like it used to...you have to click to see the rest. Plus every single page you ever became a fan of now shows up in those sections on your profile. The other annoyance is that your groups no longer show, for other people to see. I think the only hope that exists of possibly getting the old style back, is to speak out about it...either flood the Facebook team with e-mails, or start a petition asking them to change the format back to the way it was (I also joined a group called 500,000 Members needed to change back to the old facebook layout - OFFICIAL...don't know if it will help but figured at this point anything is worth a try). There is power in numbers and maybe if they get enough complaints/requests from people, they will realize that they took away an aspect of the site that made it interesting and fun. Some people had some really funny & entertaining things written in their info sections and it was cool to read...all of that content is gone now! :-(
