Why am i so afraid/hate social media so much?

I never go on my Facebook account anymore, and my friends made me make an instagram that i uploaded one picture one- because i never go on it.

When i am on it i feel like i'm trapped, and i can't be myself because people will judge, so i just don't go on them. Also, i find it suuuppper boring. but.....

Is there such a phobia for that? Well i know i am introverted, but i'm not even shy! i'm really confused.

Nah social media really is useless unless you are an advertiser. You may have some kind of social anxiety disorder, but social media tends to get people into trouble. So avoiding it isnt a bad idea

social anxiety. You're lucky you do not have autism or Aspberger's - those people do not have friends at all.

It's not a phobia, it's more of a case where you are not superficial. Look at the type of people that constantly posts pictures, stupid statuses with 100 spelling and/or grammar mistakes and constantly share stupid videos. What's the point?

I'm introverted too, but i'm a guy, so i'm guessing people won't gossip if i look ugly in a picture.
