Here you can take a look: http://terranovauk.blog.com/2012/10/20/t...lopment-2/

It's not only about children, but it starts with them...

Now, what are you going to do?

exactly the same thing yahoo is doing to our minds. that's why i place limits on my time here. the internet and social networks have great potential for good but, as many cyber-skeptics have pointed out, they also have a potential for harm. this is about how we use them, it's about having a sense of self-discipline and remaining in control (and that includes being aware of the pros as well as the cons).

it's about being mindful (in terms of what we pay attention to) and remembering what is important. as a parent, it's up to me, in conjunction with any educators concerned, to ensure that my son learns how to use these resources sensibly, rather than become enslaved to them. my husband and i take that responsibility very seriously.

I would say that ADD and lack of concentration have much more to do with the florescent lights they are putting overhead in the schools. These vibrate at the same frequency as the human brain and interfere with it's functioning. And now their pushing their sales in homes too those swirly florescent lights get rid of them. I do think children should play one of the biggest bummers of my life was when I was about 5 and that got that blasted television set...there went my sister always glued to it the dumby box I called it and there basically went family life. My father if not working was also glued to it he had it so loud at night I could hear it in my bedroom and felt like pounding my head against the wall. It would do parents good to limit the time they spend on this technology and make sure they develop the ability of play. Without that life loses much of it's enjoyment.
