Google Play won't recognise my new phone so I can't get the Facebook App?
I got a new phone today (HTC 8S). I want Facebook messenger on it but I can only get the official one of Google Play, because the store on the windows 8 doesn't have the official one. In settings on my phone it says that Google is connected on accounts, but when I log in on the same account on Google and I try to install Messenger it tells me that my device isn't connected. It's really hard because after a bit the internet randomly closes and I have to start again. Why won't google recognise my device and how can I get the app on? I really don't want to use an unofficial one because I tried a few and they don't alert you when you have a message.

You Have to Get It to Recognize your New Phone ? Since its a New Phone have you Signed Into your Google Play Account on your New Phone if Not you Have to Do That Once you have Done That Than you Should Be Able to Download Apps Like Facebook With No Problem
