Why do responders to my email get another e mail address for me and are unable to respond?

Very hard to say...many glitches in the yahoo email service lately.
I would first check your FROM settings to see what you have in the REPLY TO
section....It should be empty so replies come back to you.

Hover your pointer over the GEAR...upper right...Select SETTINGS... You should
already be in ACCOUNTS. Click on EDIT to the right of your email address.
Change what you want it to be.
Don't include special characters, such as "@".
If you leave the box empty, recipients won't see a sending name on your email,
but they will continue to see your email address, which you can't hide.
If you leave the REPLY-TO ADDRESS blank replies to your emails will
come back to your email address.

You can check this by sending yourself an email and then replying to it and see if you get it back.
