Hearing voices and hallucinations?
Lately I've been hearing voices in my head telling me to kill myself and insulting me. Like calling me names. The voices sound like my friends. Some don't sound like my friends. Not all the things that have been said by these voices have happened in reality. I can't really comprehend what this means. Also I noticed that almost every night I see "creatures" of some sort. They appear to look like "monsters". I don't know if this is supposed to be just a nightmare. The "monster" doesn't really say anything. Once I see it. (Never went to sleep) I would think negatively and do self harm. As if I did something wrong and it wants me to pay. My behavior would act different. I'd get on social media and socialize with my friends. Whenever I do, I am not very nice/kind. More of a jerk. Can anybody please help me understand what this is? It's been happening. For a few weeks now. Probably a month. (Keep in mind I had a bad past and attempted suicide by cutting and pills. So the self-harm isn't really unusual)

I would advise you to see a professional before you end up hurting yourself even more. Hearing voices and hallucinations are a symptom of psychosis, which is a very serious issue.

There are demons messing with you. It has happened to me and once they physically harmed me, a burn mark. Trust me, they are real and they do this to many people. Just ask Jesus into your life and heart and start praying Psalm 91 outloud. Tell them to leave in Jesus name. And ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit. Jesus cast demons out and away from people all the time and said his believers would to do it too. "For we wrestle not flesh and blood, but principalities and powers of darkness, spiritual wickedness in high places." Check out Ephesians. (ch. 6) The Word of God is the sword of the spirit that you use against demons. You speak to them and command them to leave you alone. They have to obey if you speak with faith. Repent of all sins and ask forgiveness from God , then start doing this stuff and read the bible from now on to find out more. Trust me, don't listen to the mockers. I've experience the same exact stuff and I know this what it going on with you. I used to hear the voices too and at night they would wake me up and I would see dark entities hovering over my bed. All have to bow to the name of Jesus. They fear it. God bless you.

There's help out there don't stress just ignore those voices and try to think positive maybe try to pray it may help and very importantly seek help tell your parents/guardian , a loved one an teacher someone to get you assistance I know these things can happen and pple do recover you may be going through something but there are solutions out there and people who do care and love you out there you just have to take the first step and I know yes it's not easy but take a step and tell someone go to your doctor or the hospital it's okay to go through things it happens and you aren't the first to have experienced hard difficult time. Just know there is help and light at the end of the tunnel and I know you will get well soon just again take the first step and reach out you can be discreet too about it do what you feel comfy if u want to take your loved one aside you can just tell them generally what the issues are briefly and ask them to help get uto the right place so u can get treatment

don't feel embarrassed or ashamed, just find someone who can help you clarify what's going on. I agree that prayer does help but talk to a school counselor or even an anonymous crisis line.
