marketing or sociology?
I want to go to american university and I would like to know about marketing.
Is it fun or is it hard? is it have a lot of reading and writing and math as well?
or more talk with people (social with people)?
how about sociology? is it interesting?what do we learn in sociology?is it have a lot of writing and reading and math? or just social with people?
what course should I take in high school for marketing and sociology?

Thanks!

These are both great majors and I am incredibly interested in both of them! Both of these are highly related: one is the study of people and how they relate to their world, the other is the study of people and how to relate to their money. Any social science will help you prep, especially economics or psychology, which most high schools offer.

Sociology is interesting. yes, there is a lot of reading, writing and research, and a little math as well. But that's pretty much any college focus.

Sociology is studying groups of people and why they do what they do, why they gather in those groups, etc - it's psychology taken to the group level,

Classes to take - try taking a business course, and of course, take sociology if your school offers them.

However, for the future, I will tell you that a degree in sociology doesn't do much for you. I know- my first BA is in sociology. My second is history and education.

Here's my suggestion - since sociology is the study of groups of peopel, and so is marketing - but with the focus being on how you can influence those groups - why not consider a double major? Or rmajor in marketing, and minor in sociology? That would be a winning combo for the work world after you graduate.
