Mdeejay 2.3 Gingerbread Re-Evolution HD2, removing the stock Facebook app.?
I recently put Gingerbread on my HD2 Leo. Everything works great except the facebook app. I noticed that the icon for the app on this version isn't the standard FB icon. I want to remove it, but its not listed under the My apps option in settings. When i go to the official FB app on in the market, the only option is to update, when i do, it DLs then says the package was not signed correctly, anybody know how to fix this? Thanks in advance Smile

You have two options that I know of. I presume you are rooted since you loaded Mdeejay. Check out either Root Explorer or Titanium Backup. Both of these programs will allow you to remove apps that are included with the Rom. A guide for using Root Explorer is linked linked below:
