FaceBook searching problem?

I don't want my name to come up when someone searches me on facebook, is their a privacy way to keep it hidden if someone searches my name?

im not sure if their still is but hteir use to be, but if random ppl ask u to be friends just say ignore

There are four options regarding your facebook search result. You can let:
-everyone
-friends and networks
-friends of friends
-only friends

search for you.. So I guess the last option is what you want. go to "Account" located at the top right of the page. Click "Privacy Settings". Now click "Search" and select the "only friends" option from "Facebook Search Results"
