How do you folks handle social media bullying?
Today I tweeted to one of the trending hash tags on twitter, and when I got out of school, I had like 3 people just full on attacking me with harsh tweets. They weren't even toward the tweet I posted, they were making fun of what I said about me in my bio (nothing even that bad, making fun of that I said I was a single guy), and making fun of the picture of me in my twitpic. Another one even came on and posted and said "he'd beat me everyday with (can't remember what) until I stopped acting like a c**t, and then maybe one day I'd stop", and I'm pretty sure i could've pressed charges had I of known the guy saying that.
Like I said, I literally did not, and have not posted anything that would make anyone mad at all. They just seen my tweet, and came on and attacked me with very negative comments.

I read what they said, and blocked them since I don't think you can actually report someone for their tweets, but what I really want to ask is how do I not respond back to all of it? I don't want to comment back to their tweets, for one I don't want to publicly do that where all of the people following me see it, and two I want to be the bigger person. It just gets old with people I don't even know bashing me, and then someone they know jumping in, and here I am trying to ignore it.

Reply with a clever, but not mean, tweet and then just let them run out of rage. Haha.

1. Don't respond to their attacks.

2. Stop using Twitter, it's pointless.
