How should children be raised?
I'm doing a short essay for English on how society and parents should go about raising a child. Now this essay has to be about forming said child into the best human being they could be. I get to structure society and give set rules to parents to raise they're children and it would be great if I could get some insight from you guys to give me ideas for my essay. Some of the sample questions are: should everyone be allowed to be a parent, or do you have to be tested to become a parent? How should schools be taught? Should there be school at all? Social media? Internet? (Etc...) Should there be rules at all on how to raise a child? Should everyone in society be equal and make the same amount of money no matter they're job?
I'd be really interested to hear some of your idea's!! Thanks so much in advance! Ten points to best answer?

Some of the sample questions are: should everyone be allowed to be a parent, or do you have to be tested to become a parent? This idea has already been tried in Nazi Germany! That didn't work out very well. Should everyone in society be equal and make the same amount of money no matter they're job? This idea was tried in communist Russia also without good results.

I'm not an adult therefor I cannot say I have experience of raising a child or being a parent but I'll do my best of what it think how people should properly raise a child.

Should Everyone Allowed To Be A Parent?: For this question I think that yes, everyone should allowed to be a parent //if// they have a stable home/environment, they make enough money to take care of themselves including a child, and they are actually ready to take on the responsibility of a parent unlike 16 year old girls who have a trashy boyfriend as a father, or a mother who goes around making babies like a rabbit.

How should schools be teaching?: I actually believe that schools now are ridiculous in a way. All we do is sit at desk aiming for good grades instead of learning. All we're doing is doing what we have to to get good grades, to get into college, and get a job. What useful tools do they teach in school that'll help us in life, besides the basics (math, science, history etc. ) hopefully you understand what I mean when I say this but, for this question I do not know how to answer because, schools are constantly changing the way they teach.

Should there be school at all?: Well, besides the fact that kids are getting bullied now days just because of their music taste or sexual orientation I think yes, kids should always go to school. We don't want the future generations which the whole world relies on to take care of the world when we get old, to be stupid and have no clue what their doing.

Social Media?: This is in my opinion but social media sucks and once I have a kid their not allowed to have a facebook/Instagram/snapchat or what ever it is.
I feel like those social media sites are a good way for bullies to get to kids. And, it's also a good way to make teens feel insecure about themselves and being a jealous negative person, and please do not get me started about those stupid faces girls are doing for their profile pictures. I wouldn't want my daughter to look like a skank just to impress her crush or her friends the having the whole internet seeing it.

Internet?: Well, I'd add parental controls on some things. People now days have the world at their fingertips and I feel as if they are taking advantage of it; exposing children to inappropriate things. And they'll think its cool and show all their friends etc etc.

Rules on how to raise a child?: Well, I don't think there should be like this contract of rules you have to sign once you have a baby. Once you have a kid, you have a kid. You've decided that you have the responsibility of raising a human being and of course there comes unwritten rules to that.

Money?: I wish that could happen. And if it actually could, then yes!! There are so many parents struggling with their jobs and money and I think it has a big impact on kids, too. They get made fun of because, their wearing clothes from last year or don't have the best backpack in school just because, their parents can't afford it.

Other than that, I think that parents now days are too controlling in some ways and feel like they should let their kid explore different areas of style or music etc. of course they should definitely be controlling over drugs and those types of things but taking your kids opportunity to find themselves and what they like I think it stupid. Their basically forcing their kids to be what they want them to be. If you understand what I'm saying.

Sorry if I wrote way to much, I got kinda got carries away. x3
I hope this helps with your essay, good luck!
