Nokia Lumia 925 or iPhone 4S?

Okay, so my contract is up in a couple of weeks and I plan on switching from AT&T to T-Mobile and I want that Jump thing they have now. The Nokia Lumia 925 and iPhone 4S are the same price, but I really don't know which one I want more.

The Lumia has a wonderful camera (which is extremely important to me because I don't want to bring my DSLR everywhere I go and the Lumia 1020 is far too expensive) and it runs windows which seems fun. I've never used a windows phone before but I'm not afraid of trying something different (and the lack of popular apps is nothing to me, it has evernote, twitter and a lot of good third party apps for things like tumblr and stuff. And I don't even use Instagram or Snapchat).

I know Apple, I got my first shuffle back in Christmas of '05 and I've had an apple product ever since. The camera isn't as good as the Lumia but the phone is much more popular, so if something were to happen to it there are a lot more forums and repair shops as well as accessories to keep it safe. But I heard rumors of the new iPhone 5S coming out soon so it'll be outdated soon enough. Also I am addicted to iTunes, I don't use any other music player (I have an andriod tablet and hate it's music player), it's easier to use and I'm extremely familiar with the OS.

They're both 16gb so size isn't an issue, they don't have a removable battery or SD card slot. But I really don't know which one I want, so what do you think? I plan to keep whichever phone I get for as long as humanly possible, even if it is no contract I don't want to get a new phone it is no longer usable. And like I said, apple fanboys don't need to post their opinions. I know you think Apple is the ruler of the world, no need to tell me that thanks.

It's just a matter of preference...
If you want a long lasting, quality cell phone you should go with Nokia.
True it has fewer apps and a bit, erm... inferior OS than the iOS, but Nokia's durability is superior to Apple's.

On the other hand iPhone 4S has a BUNCH of apps, and a really neat feature Siri.

So it's durability vs. versatility.

Personally I'd choose the 925. Microsoft says all WPs are going to get three years of updates and with Nokia backing it that's very possible.
Bigger screen, better display (PPI anyway), better low-light photography, OIS for video. Also it's 18 months newer than the 4S. For some that matters but it's subjective.

I'm not an Apple fan but love Nokia phones. If you're in the Apple ecosystem (iTunes etc) and need the latest apps 100% of the time this get the 4S. If you want an alternative to iOS and Android then try WP. I did and love it. couldn't imagine using something else. I'm getting the 1020 as soon as it's released here and can't wait.

My vote is for the 925 but it all depends on what you want out of it. Aside from the Google products there's no app I couldn't find and even on a 520 there was no lag whatsoever. So in my opinion the 925 is an awesome phone and definitely worth it.
