Iphone buyer from Ukraine won my bid on eBay but seems sketchy, I need help and honest opinions?

I put up a broken iphone 5 on eBay and a buyer from the Ukraine won the bid, although I said no international buyers. That's the not the problem though, the problem is that he hasn't paid for it yet and yet he wants me to send him the invoice to prove that I shipped it. Last time I checked, the buyer has to pay for it first in order for me to ship it. Also. I did a little research my self & found out that theres been a lot of scammers that buy iPhones from the Ukraine, but I looked at his recent feedback from other things he has bought & it says that he's 100% legit & has only had good feedback. But I also found out that he has been buying iphone parts on eBay, so that leads to me conclude that he will try to repair my phone. But that's just my inference. What I'm afraid of is that he'll have access to all my social media/contacts/messages/etc if he does repair it because I did not have the chance to wipe it's memory out since it completely broke. I need help on what to do.

Absolutely he must pay first. That's the rules of selling something - Payment first receival directly after if in person or shipped if far away.

Document the non-payment and if possible cancel the sale.

When in doubt, don't. There are all kinds of scams going on. One guy wanted to buy something I had and wanted to pay way too much for it. Probably wanted my bank information. Also, he got openly hostile when I wouldn't sell it to him.

If your concerned I wouldn't sell it to him, and always always have the money first before you send it :-)

I wouldnt send it. Actually I would just trade it in when upgrading, since they take it even if broken, then you dont have to worry about any of that stuff.

No matter where he lives your information would still be in it. What is so secret about your information anyway that you dont want someone else to have it? You should have thought of this before you listed it.

If you dont want to sell it, email him and say you dont sell to the Ukraine and cancel the transaction. I am selling a film scanner on Ebay and had only one inquiry also from the Ukraine. When I told him the shipping cost was $40 he lost interest.

He is asking for you to send him an invoice.
