how do I cancel facebook account?

want my personal life to stay personal. I am having difficulty canceling my facebook account

Go onto Setting and Account Settings and then after that click 'Deactivate Account'

Then click submit & follow everything it says after that. It'll only deactivate first for two weeks but just don't log in & it'll delete itself x

1 Sign in to Facebook account.
Click on Account link on the top right corner.


2 On the “Settings” tab (click on Settings if you’re not already there), click on deactivate at the end of “Deactivate Account” line.


3 “Confirm Facebook Account Deactivation” page will load.

i want to delete mine too but it will only let me de-activate it!

they should allow you to delete it!
