Unarchive Facebook Messages?

So I archived a Facebook message for a few days and now I unarchived it and it went to my inbox. However now it keeps archiving on it's own every time I refresh or look at my messages and I don't get notifications when that person messages me. I've tried restarting everything and logging in and out. Is there any way to fix this?

What happened to you is a glitch, nothing you can do unless wait for FB to fix itself. You don't have to unarchive to get the next message comes in your Inbox; even if you delete conversation with that person, once you exchange message to each other, the next message will go to your Inbox.
