I think this girl could be ignoring me?

Hi!
I'm 17 and i met a girl about 3 or 4 months ago, and we talked briefly. I saw her a second time and that was when i got her facebook, and we communicated via facebook for about a month. (in the whole month, i did not manage to see her once, even though we live in the same neighbourhood.)

So i've not seen her for 2 months, and for the past month, ever since the winter break, i messaged her on facebook and she saw the messages but she didn't reply.
I saw her in person today while walking back home and she was behind a huge group of friends so it didn't occur to me that she would be there until i saw her.

We were right beside each other, the path was quite narrow so i walked faster so i wouldn't block others path. I saw her and smiled, but i don't know if she noticed cause she had no reaction but i'm sure our eyes met. However, she didn't even acknowledge my presence and just continued walking. I turned to make sure it was her and yup, it was. And worse, she didn't even turn around to take a second look!

What should i do now?
I don't like her, but i'm just trying to make friends in this neighbourhood, all my friends stay like an hour and a half away from me!

just ask her if u have done something wrong to upset her, and u are just trying to make friends
