Updated Facebook for iPhone question?

When I post a picture or status on Facebook through my iPhone, it posts so only I can view it. I have to actually log onto a computer and click on my status so my friends can view it too....Why is it doing that? I tried editing my settings both with Facebook and on my phone but nothing showed. I never had this problem until I updated my Facebook app on my iPhone. help

There's has always been issues with the facebook app every time these updates come about things get worse mines force closes nothing can be done other than finding another app
