Facebook friend request help?

Ok so i only have 20 facebook friends and i want more, so i look at one of my friends friend list to see who i would like to add, i sent a few friend requests out already and some people accepted it, i want to know how i can send one out without the person thinking im a stalker or im creepy, im really not any of those, im some 18 year old on facebook trying to make freinds, i just dont want facebook to bann me

Don't worry if your just looking for friends its fine but you can also search them and by the way facebook wont bann you for that ( I don't think).
