Hoodie Allen concert/ details on concerts?

So im going to my first concert in september. Its to see hoodie allen. The tickets are standing so do i have to be early to get close and how do i get his autograph/pic coz on twitter he said he can sign this lads hat so anyone who been to see him or know from other gigs theyve been to?

If your standing-room tickets are general admission, then it is best to be at the performance venue at least six to seven hours prior to the time that the public is admitted into the venue. That is, if the public is admitted into the venue at 6:00 p.m., you should plan to be at the venue by at least 11:00 a.m. or even earlier.

You can obtain an autograph after the performance, as that is when artists typically meet and greet their fans.
