The "Talking About This" on my Facebook page keeps dropping?

I own a 11k, (almost 12k) page, and a about a week ago the TAT, (Talking About This) was a little over 3000, and now its almost to 2000.
We went from getting 60-70 likes on every picture to being lucky if we even got 20 likes on a picture.
(We only post pictures because i know statuses bring the TAT down)
i've been telling my admins to be more active and get likes, and lately i've been scheduling posts an hour apart throughout the day and night, i think that might help it go down because the TAT hasnt risen like it usually does since a started scheduling posts.
What should i do?
