Have you created account on facebook with same email before? or what email address are you using? if you are using any business email like your company may be facebook don't accept this.. try gmail, Hotmail or yahoo

Either your mail id may be used or Facebook wont allow any domain which is unknown to it. any ways create a new email using outlook or Gmail. Enjoy social networking

Maybe someone else used your email address to sign up for facebook. You cannot have 2 facebook accounts with 1 email address.
