How do you get lots of followers on instagram?

okay I'm 15 and all m friends have like 5,000+ followers, but I have like only 200 odd, its really annoying because they always brag about it. Is there anything I can do to get more followers without buying them?

They brag about it hahaha, little kids these days. There's nothing to brag about getting a lot of instagram followers. The only way to get more is if you buy them.

Get likes and followers for increasing other people's views, likes, followers, etc.

Use tags on your photos, especially ones that promote people to follow back e.g. #followback #teamfollowback #followforfollow #follow4follow etc. There's an app called Tag For Likes which has loads of popular tags on that'll get you followers and likes.
Also ask people if they want to do shoutout for shoutout, mainly ask people that have around 200-400 followers, they'll probably be the most willing to. Have a look in the '#shoutout4shoutout' tag as well.
Make sure to keep your account active and post interesting photos and a variety of photos not just selfies and what you've had for lunch, places you've been, pretty flowers, clothes you've bought etc. tag them with appropriate tags.
