What are twitter and face book all about?

simple - first its a craze, second its addictive, third they want you to join due to peer pressure.

Its social networking to see what you are up to, use you in games and online play, and talk rubbish to millions.

the info is only given away if you put details of yourself there - me I don't and therefore should some scam merchant or perverts get into my details they will find nothing to use against me.

may sound dishonest but less is more - its a survival tip out there. If you have to give details - never phone numbers, bank accounts ot stuff like that - and use a bad pic of yourself so if anything goes wrong, no one can stalk you or use that pic for pornographic purposes.

These sites are a way to advertise social gatherings and bond with family and friends far and wide without travelling or making accommodation arrangements.

Just don't get addicted or take it real - otherwise you will lose the plot.
