how to talk to a famous person?
heyy, i'm going to another country in a week (not saying where for privacy haha), and this (kind of) famous guy (higher social rank i guess) who i'm a huge fan of is meeting me there for a day cause he kind of knows who i am already (through social media lol, don't ask me how). anyway, it's verified and everything so definitely he knows who i am, it's easy to put up a facade behind the screen but in real life, i'm really shy and awkward and i have a different accent and i'm afraid he'd think my accent is weird and think i'm weird or something, know what I mean? i've seen stories saying that he's really chill and all that, and that he's one of the coolest people but like we're so different, and i'm just lookign to kind of be acquaintances or even friends.

i know like famous people are just people but i don't want to seem all stalkerish, but then again i know if someone doesn't like me for who i am and only for the front i put up then that person is really not worth it, should i just be my old chill self? i know a lot of people think i'm chill and all but a select few hate my guts (for something i didn't do at all, typical teenage drama) and i really don't care about those people cause they aren't worth my time anyway, so should i just be myself or do i need to follow some tips cause this guy is so famous and probably gets annoyed more easily? idk, help.

It's your fantasy; say whatever you like.

I didn't read ur description do im just answering by ur question. Just be yourself and don't be do perky, excited, and jumping around. Famous people have met plenty normal people and it could probably get annoying to them to see someone jumping up and down to meet them. It would be new to you but not them.

Prepare some rational conversation about your mutual interests. Soft-pedal the questions. Talk about where each of you grew up, places you've been, and what his life has been like.

Act respectful but not like a typical fawning fan. "I've always been a big fan of yours" – brrr! Forget that very word!
