Question about Twitter..I know I've asked a lot but please answer this is stressing me out SO much :'(?

First of all, I'm sorry I've asked this quite a few times...I'm just still freaking out about it. I've been stressing over this so much that it's keeping me up at night and giving me a stomach ache.
So anyway if you can provide me with a real and accurately descriptive answer, it would be of a lot of help.

So I had been visiting my crushes public Twitter profile every day for like three months. I don't have a Twitter account so I would google his username to get onto his profile. Then I would sometimes click on his tweets to see who was favoriting them. I've been doing this like constantly since November.
This guy used to be my best friend last year before he stopped talking to me because of a misunderstanding and I was missing him so much at the beginning of the year that knowing I couldn't talk to him....I turned to discovering his Twitter profile and stalking him.

I know how wrong it was. I stopped about 8 days ago when he posted "there's nothing to see here" as his bio. He stopped tweeting too. I've been so nervous since then that this meant he caught me stalking him. I didn't think this was possible and a lot of people have assured me that it's not but the coincidence just seems to great to me.
Is there any website, app, or add on that could have allowed him to track me as a constant visitor on his profile?
Could Twitter have notified him eventually because of how often I had looked at his profile?
Could he have tracked my IP address?
Or is there any other way he could have found out?

I'm so embarrassed and stressed over this. Please answer the best you can and if you are going to be rude or uninformative just don't bother please, thanks.

Oh and remember I DON'T HAVE AN ACCOUNT TO TWITTER (if that makes a dif)

Twitter does not give away ip addresses so maybe he quit twitter and put there's not to see here because he quit

No, it's just coincidence he's posted that. The only most plausible way he could find out is if you have told someone what you are doing and they have told him, either directly or through common friends.

Twitter does not care how often you look at a profile, I'm sure he wont be tracking IP addreses and despite what the internet might tell you, there is no software that lets you know "who's been viewing your twitter / facebook accounts" - theyre all scams.

So stop worrying!

On another note don't waste your time stalking, get out there and find a new crush who will crush you back ;-)
