Why isn't my school showing up on my facebook timeline?

I added my school and the year I graduate but the only thing that shows up on my timeline is
Lives in _______
From _________
Add where you work
Add college

I edited the settings so "public" can see it on my timeline but after i save the settings and go to my profile the same add work add college thing shows up :/

Hello! This is very simple, and easy to understand.

On facebook, when you put in your HS it won't show up when you look at your timeline because facebook wants you to add your other info in that section. So since you didn't go to college or work, it won't show up when you look at it.

Your friends and the public will see it when they go to your profile. It's just that FB wants you to add the other info first.

To make sure.. Post a status, put your mouse over your small profile picture and it should say your high school there.

Don't worry. Everybody can see
