Birmingham German Christmas Market?

Just trying to work out how much money to take!

What kind of things can you buy?
Do the items they sell make good Christmas pressies?
Do the stalls take card or is it cash only?
How much is it to ice skate?
Is there plenty of choice for lunch?
Is lunch pricey?

I live 20 miles away from Birmingham but never been to the German Market and am quite excited!
