Without just un-tagging myself..? So that its gone off facebook properly ?

there is no way to do that - you cant delete something someone else posted unless they post it on your timeline

Talk to your friend and ask them to take it down. If it doesn't follow fb guidelines, e.g. nudity, then you can report it. Those are the only two options because it's not your photo.

If it's because you were tagged, just go to your photos and then click remove tag. Other people checking your photos won't see it any more but it is still in the album of that person who uploaded the pictures.But the point is, your unwanted pics is not seen on your profile photos, only if they go to the album of that person who made it. Or you can ask that person to delete that photo on the album.

There is no direct way to do that. You can only attempt to remove it from Facebook, here are your two options:

1. You personally inform your friend that you find the photo offensive and that he/she should remove it.

2. You report the photo and hope that Facebook removes it. To report a photo, hover your mouse over the bottom of the image, then click on Options > Report > I don't like this photo of me > Continue
