Find as many gigs as possible. Dont rely on using the internet cuz no body online actually cares about rock. You have to PLAY like crazy.

Try YouTube. A lot of people have got famous from YouTube. If that doesn't work see if you can play at a local business. Try to get multiple gigs and try to just keep playing at local businesses and hope someone notices you and likes your sound.

Share your music where ever other people share their music on. Turntable, Youtube, and stuff like that.

Get as many gigs as you can, work your a$ses of, play wherever and whenever you have the chance and never back away from a gig even if you have to play for free. Once you're famous you'll have enough money but still try to get at least a little bit out of every gig.

good luck

Hello Assassinxrayx Smile There are a lot of ways to get your band noticed. Here are a few of them:

- YouTube: YT is a way many modern bands get noticed for the first time. But getting your video noticed is a challenge in itself. Some tips: make a video response on a a popular video of a band with a similar style as yours. Also, when you post your video, try to add as many tags as you can to it that relate to your band. Tags will help you show up higher up on the YouTube Search. Use keywords that you'd figure a fan of your genre would type in. Another way to show up higher on the search is to publish videos often, maybe like once a week or something (which i know is harder to do for a band then just a YT entertainer). You may want to embed your videos on social media sites as well. Lastly, there is a really good website for promoting your videos (along with your bands' facebook and twitter), I suggest you try it: http://www.youlikehits.com/

- Try to play as many gigs as you can: there as so many bands of YT that get noticed, that it would take a lifetime to listen to them all. You need something to set you guys aside from the rest, and that would actually performing to an audience. As a performing musician in LA, I cannot stress how important ties with different people are to getting a gig. Try to get in touch with and get recognized by the local music scene if you can, from different bands, to people who own venues. You may also want to advertise if you have the money for it. And if you really want to see yourself get noticed, try sending a demo to a record deal (although I know some bands are anti-record company, so you don't have to) and if you land a deal, depending on the record company, all your advertisements and gigs will be set up for you, and you will get noticed. And by record companies, I don't just mean the big ones, like Atlantic, Warner Bros., etc..., there are a lot of smaller record companies you can look up.

- Make sure your band actually DOES attract attention: even if your band has a really good record out (make sure you do that too) it still might not attract attention. Try to make eye-catching posters and logos, as well as names for songs and album that will catch people's eyes. There's a saying: "the hardest part for a new band is getting people to turn the music on; afterwards its' all downhill." You can even make T-shirts and other merch - this will all help get your band noticed.

There is so much more! For other information, please visit the links below:

Again its' fine if you don't want to be part of a record label, many bands aren't Wink

For any other info, just google it - trust me, it works Wink And also the other guys who answered your question have made good points as well

Oh yeah and mind if I ask, but what is your band name? I could help promote it a bit, since I'm experienced in the business.

So anyways good luck to your band Smile

Make a Twitter account. Follow people who follow bands that inspire your playing. Hopefully they'll follow you back, they'll spread the word and whatnot. The use of hashtags also make it easy for people to find your band and to hear about it. Set up a Facebook account. Keeping people up to date with things on Twitter is alright, but you're limited. Facebook is better for keeping people up to date etc. (I don't bother with Facebook, only Twitter.

YouTube is good too. This means that people are able to listen to your band's music.

If you use these 3 websites, you'll soon attract an audience. The people from Twitter will look on your Facebook. The people who look on your YouTube will check out your Facebook and so forth.
